Understand energy and stress to avoid burnout




Are you experiencing burnout? Burnout for both parents and children has become more prevalent in today’s fast-paced society. A constant state of stress, usually induced by ignoring basic needs such as time to be calm or prioritizing others needs before your own, has prolonged effects on our ability to manage stress efficiently.
In this video clinical child and adolescent psychologist Jenna Glover, PhD explains the Maslow hierarchy of needs that are required in order to survive and grow, a sense of connectedness to family and friends and how a little down-time can go a long way to improve stress management.
