Meet an Athletic Trainer: Certified Athletic Trainer Helps Young Athletes Meet Their Goals

What does an athletic trainer do? As a certified athletic trainer, Nick Cole is on a mission to bridge the gap between Children’s Hospital Colorado and the local community ─ helping young athletes recover, rebuild and return to the sport they love most. From their toughest injuries and everyday practices to moments of triumph, Nick is there to offer support and encouragement for young athletes every step of the way. Working with kids from age 9 through high school, he takes pride in watching them grow, not just as competitors but as individuals.

“It just feels great being out here for these athletes, being the bridge between the medical world and our athletic world,” he says.
