Sedation uses medication, such as a nasal spray or a drink, to make your child feel relaxed and reduce pain or discomfort during the procedure. Unlike general anesthesia, sedation doesn’t put them fully to sleep but does make them very drowsy.

Watch the video to learn more about how to prepare for a dental procedure with sedation and what signs to look for to ensure your child remains safe after the procedure.
