Who needs reindeer when Santa Claus can fly high from Children’s Hospital Colorado?
As a way to celebrate the holiday season and provide an important training exercise, members of Denver Fire Department Rescue 2 rappelled down the side of Children’s Colorado dressed as Santa, the Grinch and Elf as patients watched and waved from the windows.
Firefighters also participated in a parade, donated toys and $3,500 in gift cards, and presented a check for $3,200 to spread holiday cheer and provide support to Children’s Colorado.
