If your baby has a prenatal diagnosis that requires fetal surgery, it can raise a lot of questions. In your first appointment at the Colorado Fetal Care Center, we try to answer as many of those questions as possible to ease your concerns. You’ll meet all the experts who will be involved in your care, who will make sure you feel comfortable about your care plan and give you a complete picture of your journey ahead.
An accurate diagnosis is the foundation for great fetal care. Our doctors begin with fetal imaging tests such as a fetal MRI and fetal ultrasound to get a detailed picture of how your baby is developing. Once our maternal fetal medicine specialists have all the information they need, they’ll meet and develop your fetal care plan. You’ll then sit down with our fetal surgery team in a single meeting to discuss your care and ask any questions you have.
