A Look at Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg’s Skechers Collab
When it comes to unlikely pairs, none has charmed us quite like Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg. Their decade-plus friendship began in 2008 when Snoop was a guest on her cooking show. Ever since, the duo have been creative collaborators, teaming up for a variety of business adventures, including hosting gigs and judging competition shows (like Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party). They even partnered with the same wine brand. (Do you think they have those heart-shaped friendship necklaces? Hope so.) Earlier this year, they starred together in Skechers Super Bowl commercials, which saw Stewart getting inked as a tribute to her rapper friend.
The two friends are once again teaming up with Skechers, but on new shoe collections for fall. While Stewart and Snoop Dogg already have namesake collections with the shoe brand, these brand-new items are perfect for any fall mood—whether you want to look snug as a bug in a rug or simply want something stylish and fresh for the new season.
In Stewart’s collection, there’s a winter boot for casual cold-weather walks, a platform sneaker to look cute during weekend errand-runs, and some comfy slip ons for when you just want to stay home and, ahem, bake some brownies.
For Snoop Dogg’s collection, there’s more of a fashion-forward vibe. With his version of the iconic Hands Free Slip-ins, you still get that same comfortable fit and ease of wear, but these sneakers come in more stylish colors. Both Stewart and Snoop Dogg’s Skechers lines are made with foot health in mind, so you’ll get that classic padding and support Skechers has become known for.
“I really wanted each and every style to be useful, practical, beautiful, and wearable,” said Stewart in a press release. “We have lots of special Martha touches, like faux-fur trims and a beautiful color palette that you are going to adore.” Her favorite style is the Hands Free Slip-ins sneakers because they have a “beautiful, color palette and some very pretty trims that make them look more expensive than they are.” Martha knows we love to look bangin’ (and feel comfortable!) on a budget!
