What is Serial Casting?
Serial casting can treat muscle tightness or movement challenges such as toe-walking in children. It’s a gentle, non-surgical way to gradually stretch muscles and improve flexibility.
Our pediatric physical therapists apply a progressive series of custom-fitted casts to your child’s foot and leg. Each cast is specially designed to gradually stretch and improve muscle function. The casting procedure is painless, and your child can color or watch videos.
Adapting to a cast can be a new experience for children and families. Our team is available to address any questions or concerns throughout the treatment process.
