Volunteer with the Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health (ARCH) at Children’s Hospital Colorado

From skiing to rock climbing and many sports in-between, volunteers are at the heart of our Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health (ARCH) program.

Since 1967, ARCH has provided recreational opportunities for kids with physical disabilities to help find activities that build confidence, give them encouragement and sometimes even help them meet their goals for their condition.

The program takes pride in the expertise of the instructors, volunteers and clinical staff – specifically taking the time to match each child with a volunteer who can help them succeed. In this video, hear more from Christina, an ARCH volunteer, and learn what she enjoys most about her role in the program.
