Video: Crab cakes – Mayo Clinic


Crab cakes

Serves 4

Tip: Too many crab cakes are like breaded hockey pucks! This version has very little filler. Don’t overmix!

  1. Add 16 ounces crab meat.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise.
  3. Add 2 egg whites.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
  5. Add 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard.
  6. Add 2 teaspoons fresh dill.
  7. Add 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning.
  8. Stir until combined.
  9. Add 1/2 cup Panko crumbs.
  10. Bake 20 minutes at 350 F.
