“Our Surgical Oncology Program is one of only a few nationally who have been formed with the specific purpose of treating and caring for surgical patients with tumors,” says Dr. Jonathan Roach, pediatric surgeon.
Our Program is made up of a team of multidisciplinary specialists including extensively trained pediatric surgeons, medical oncologists, physician assistants and pediatric specialists, who come together to provide optimal treatment for children with tumors. Our providers strive to understand not only what needs to happen in the operating room, but before and after surgery, to deliver the most comprehensive treatment and care plan for each family we treat.
