Meet Mazor X, or Mazie, as we like to call her. Our robotic team member is a big part of the spine surgery dream team. With her precision and skill, Mazie has helped Dr. Mark Erickson, Medical Director of the Spine Program, complete more than 500 robotic-assisted spine surgeries to date.
During spine surgery, we import detailed X-ray images into Mazie so she can help the team place implants with extreme accuracy. We know spine surgery can be scary, but with our team’s extensive expertise and Mazie’s attention to detail, we make minimally invasive spine surgery as safe and effective as possible.
