Magic Spoon Treats are the 2.0 version of these with the same approach to quality, nutritious ingredients people love in our cereal,&#8221; Lewis says.<\/p>\n<p>The bars come in two delicious flavors: Marshmallow and Chocolatey Peanut Butter. But unlike their mainstream competition\u2014which offer a lot in terms of enjoyment but little in terms of nutritional value (we\u2019re talking less than a gram of protein)\u2014Magic Spoon Treats have quite the impressive nutrition rundown. In fact, each bar contains a whopping 11 grams (!) of protein; that\u2019s nearly as much as a bowl of their high-protein cereal. One bar also brings seven to eight grams of fiber to the table, which is a considerable amount when noting that the U.S. Dietary Guidelines <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dietaryguidelines.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2020-12\/Dietary_Guidelines_for_Americans_2020-2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-vars-event=\"body text\" data-vars-click-url=\"https:\/\/www.dietaryguidelines.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2020-12\/Dietary_Guidelines_for_Americans_2020-2025.pdf\">recommends 21-28 grams of fiber a day for women<\/a>. Plus, the treats are made without any refined sugar (they&#8217;re sweetened with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wellandgood.com\/what-is-allulose\/\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-vars-event=\"body text\" data-vars-click-url=\"https:\/\/www.wellandgood.com\/what-is-allulose\/\">allulose<\/a>.).<\/p>\n<h2><strong>I tried Magic Spoon Treats, here\u2019s my thoughts<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>With all this health talk, you may be wondering, do they even taste good? Well, I had the chance to try them\u2014solely for research purposes, of course\u2014and they&#8217;re <em>definitely<\/em> worth the hype. The Marshmallow flavor is sweet, nostalgic, and has a warming s\u2019mores-like essence to it. And although this cereal bar errs more on the side of protein bar, the taste from the whey wasn\u2019t too overpowering unlike other protein bars (and powders) I\u2019ve tried. The real showstopper, IMO, was the Chocolatey Peanut Butter flavor; think sweet, salty, and ooey-gooey.<\/p>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_1114371\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1114371\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1114371 js-inline-lazy-load\" alt=\"magic spoon treats\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wellandgood.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/magic-spoon-treats_falsexfalse_true_70.webp\"\/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1114371\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Magic Spoon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>The crunch factor is key. Magic Spoon Treats are grain-free, meaning that unlike other crispy treats, this one <em>doesn\u2019t<\/em> get its crunchiness from rice. Instead, the puffed up snap, crackle, and pop comes from ingredients like whey protein, almond butter, and almonds.<\/p>\n<p>Although this product is marketed as a high-protein <em>cereal<\/em> bar, I found that it\u2019s perfect for noshing on any time of the day (not just breakfast). In fact, from now on I\u2019ll be carrying one in my tote bag at all times for much-needed snacktime emergencies.
