Beans<\/h3>\n<p>According to Buettner, the number one food for longevity in the world is plain and simple: beans. \u201cBeans are the number one longevity food in the world. If you\u2019re eating a couple of beans a day, it\u2019s probably worth <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wellandgood.com\/beans-and-longevity\/\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-vars-event=\"body text\" data-vars-click-url=\"https:\/\/www.wellandgood.com\/beans-and-longevity\/\">four extra years of life expectancy<\/a>,\u201d Buettner says. What makes them so great, you may wonder? Whole wheat bread<\/h3>\n<p>Number four on the list may come to you as little surprise if you already follow Buettner on social media. He, without a doubt, believes that bread and longevity are closely intertwined\u2026 needless to say, we\u2019re beyond thankful for that.
