Different quizzes may just include slightly different sets of colors (for example, Oslie&#8217;s quiz includes 14 compared to the usual 10), and the specific color identification is less important than the characteristics described in the result, anyway.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Don&#8217;t get so stuck on the color, and pay attention to the words that come after,&#8221; says Firester. As you read through the description, she recommends asking yourself questions about how the characteristics described might show up in different aspects of your life. &#8220;The introspection and the spiritual journey that exploration takes you on is the point,&#8221; she says.<\/p>\n<p>For example, if you take a quiz and your aura color is revealed to be blue, you&#8217;d find that the associated characteristics are, among others, being empathetic and striving to be of service to others. You might then ask yourself how these traits resonate with your identity and your approach to your life path, career, or relationships, suggests Firester. Perhaps you find that you often embody other peoples&#8217; feelings as your own, and that this causes you to sideline your own emotions\u2014or maybe you take pride in the fact that you can readily anticipate others&#8217; needs.
