Growing up in Western Nebraska, Dr. Jaggers helped his father, who was a veterinarian, perform surgery on cattle and deliver calves. He was drawn to medicine at a very young age. Now, he\u2019s performing some of the most complex pediatric heart surgeries in the country.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the Children\u2019s Hospital Colorado Heart Institute, Dr. Jaggers works alongside a specialized, full-spectrum care team \u2014 from doctors and nurses to respiratory therapists and social workers.
