Apparently, sometimes it really is okay to meet your heroes\u2014twice!<\/p>\n<p>While the current WWE Undisputed Champion and Heads of State star is playing the \u2018bad guy\u2019 as he wraps up his pro wrestling career, the grappling icon proved that he\u2019s all heart away from the ring. Cena has granted more than 650 wishes on behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation\u2014the most ever by a single individual. But his recent on-screen character has seen the WWE icon presenting a darker side of his personality as of late, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.muscleandfitness.com\/athletes-celebrities\/news\/watch-john-cena-roast-mf-reporter-after-wrestlemania-41-win\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claiming that we wishes to destroy pro wrestling<\/a> and giving reporters like me a fun but challenging time during press conferences.<\/p>\n<p>So, when the \u201cYou Can\u2019t See Me\u201d star attended a fan Q&amp;A at the FAN EXPO Dallas last weekend, the crowd was unsure of which Cena they would meet, but that didn\u2019t stop one guy from shooting his shot.<\/p>\n<h2>John Cena Proved that Sometimes It\u2019s OK to Meet Your Heroes\u2014Twice<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cRemember me at the Planet Hollywood in New York City?\u201d quizzed the man. Unsurprisingly, Cena, who meets countless fans every day, looked puzzled. \u201cYou walked right by a U.S. soldier, and you noticed how disappointed he was when you walked right by, and he was trying to get your autograph,\u201d continued the speaker.<\/p>\n<p>With Cena\u2019s Q&amp;A audience now on the edge of their seats, the individual explained what happened next. \u201cYou actually turned around and you made sure that he was the very first one (to get a picture),\u201d he confirmed. With the crowd now applauding, the man continued. \u201cLater on, you took a picture with that soldier. I have that picture right now after 20 years,\u201d added the man, revealing himself as the soldier from the story, and standing with the aid of a walking cane and holding the hallowed picture aloft. \u201cCan you please sign this for me,\u201d he asked, as he began to cry.<\/p>\n<p>Quick as a flash, Super Cena responded. \u201cYeah, sure, no problem!\u201d noting that he couldn\u2019t sign autographs for everyone in attendance at the Expo. \u201cBut this is a 20-year story,\u201d he qualified. \u201cI think it deserves at least a four-letter signature.\u201d The WWE champ, who also stars in Prime\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Heads-State-Ilya-Naishuller\/dp\/B0DRTJ9DTN\"><em>Heads of State<\/em><\/a> with Idris Elba and Priyanka Chopra then exited the stage to meet the man, who was walking towards him. The two embraced as the crowd roared with appreciation.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, it wasn\u2019t just the live audience that was touched, as a clip from the event has gone viral. \u201cCena being a heel on TV is cool, but Cena being Cena will always be cooler,\u201d wrote one impressed fan on Instagram. \u201cIt\u2019s reasons like this as to why I will always say John Cena is the greatest of all time,\u201d added another. \u201cHe was so fast to jump down with a \u2018Yes Sir\u2019 to boot,\u201d noticed yet another IG user. \u201cOh okay, single tear dropping down my face right now,\u201d wrote another fan.
