In non-science speak, you need to eat less than what you burn daily.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But, right here is where we try to break from what you\u2019ve been told.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Like many people, Janet believed fat loss meant eating as little as possible \u2014 and that belief kept backfiring. She spent years trapped in the restrict-then-rebound cycle. She\u2019d lose some weight, then gain it back the moment stress spiked or her willpower faded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A caloric deficit doesn\u2019t mean you have to starve or restrict all of your favorite foods. That is just the ticking time bomb of fat loss. The moment you make that decision, it\u2019s inevitable that the plan will explode in your face.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>The Shift: A New Way to Look at Fat Loss<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe should be able to eat as much as we can and still lose weight.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That one sentence flipped the script for Janet. This is how you create a sustainable calorie deficit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While you can count macros to make this happen, to make this stick long term you\u2019ll also need to shift your fat loss mindset, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bornfitness.com\/manage-hunger-during-fat-loss\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">learn to tap into your hunger cues<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and understand how to eat in a way that both helps you lose weight and feels sustainable.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b\/><b>From Starving to Sustainable: What Janet\u2019s Fat Loss Plan Looked Like<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Janet\u2019s transformation didn\u2019t require extreme dieting, hours of cardio, or giving up the foods she loved. Just consistent daily movement that helped support recovery, stress, and calorie burn.<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Strength trained 3 times per week<\/strong> \u2013 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bornfitness.com\/born-fitness-workouts-the-full-body-soul-crusher\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Circuit based workouts<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that increased calorie burn by decreasing rest periods and increasing volume. Later on, Janet progressed to a strength-building focus. <\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Adjusted her intake based on life<\/strong> \u2013 When she was hungrier or more active, she ate more. On quieter days, she pulled back. No rigid rules, just awareness and flexibility.<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The result?
