The move that Klan\u010dir is referencing is a variation of the cable lateral raise but is designed to shock the shoulders instead.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Do Petar Klan\u010dir\u2019s \u2018Cutler\u2019 Cable Shoulder Exercise.<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Grab a D-Handle and attach it to a cable machine so that your grip is just under hip height.<\/li>\n<li>Face away, sideways, from the machine so that the handle is on your far side, slightly behind you.<\/li>\n<li>Bring both feet in close to the machine and hold the frame with your closest hand to form a diagonal shape where your legs are towards the machine and your head is further away.<\/li>\n<li>Now lift the handle sideways and outwards until your arm makes a T shape and then lower until your hand is slightly behind you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u201cThis variation of the lateral raise will give you the best stimulation of medial deltoid,\u201d explains Klan\u010dir. \u201cCables are sometimes better than dumbbells because you have constant tension through the whole range of motion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To put yourself in the muscle building range of hypertrophy, start out with 3 sets of 8-12 heavy reps on side, working towards failure. \u201cYour main focus should be on controlling the weight.
