If you have homemade chickpeas on hand, use 1 \u00bd cups of cooked chickpeas. The key to making this recipe work well is to make sure you dry your chickpeas very well.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Olive Oil: <\/strong>You\u2019ll use just a little extra-virgin olive oil so the chickpeas crisp and to help the ranch dressing stick to the chickpeas.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ranch Seasoning:<\/strong> For the ranch seasoning, you can use the premixed ranch dressing seasoning that comes in a package from the store or make your own.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-make-your-own-ranch-seasoning\">Make Your Own Ranch Seasoning<\/h2>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have any ranch dressing seasoning on hand, it\u2019s really simple to make a batch of it at home. You can also make it dairy free. <\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll have extra dip seasoning leftover so you can save it in a jar for a future batch of roasted chickpeas, or use it on roasted veggies or to make ranch dressing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need to make your own ranch seasoning:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 \u00bd tablespoons buttermilk powder (or nutritional yeast for dairy free\/vegan), 1 \u00bd teaspoons dried parsley, 1 \u00bd teaspoons dried chives, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon dried dill, \u00bd teaspoon sea salt<\/li>\n<li>If you can\u2019t find dried chives, substitute with 1 teaspoon onion powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-other-air-fryer-chickpea-seasoning-ideas\">Other Air Fryer Chickpea Seasoning Ideas<\/h2>\n<p>We love the ranch seasoning on these crispy roasted chickpeas. However, you don\u2019t have to make the recipe as written \u2013 you can add just about any spice you have in the pantry to these. Here are a few of our favorites:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Curry powder, Tajin, cayenne, Za\u2019atar, taco seasoning, smoked paprika, or chili powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-make-roasted-chickpeas\">How to Make Roasted Chickpeas<\/h2>\n<p>This roasted chickpeas recipe is simple to put together in a few steps. I\u2019ve included directions here for two different cooking methods: oven and air fryer. Allow to cool 5 minutes before serving.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-air-fryer-method\">Air Fryer Method<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Dry the Chickpeas:<\/strong> Drain and rinse the chickpeas. If you have a smaller air fryer, work in batches<\/em>. Transfer the chickpeas to your air fryer basket and air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Allow chickpeas to cool 5 minutes before serving.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-store-air-fryer-roasted-chickpeas\">How to Store Air Fryer Roasted Chickpeas<\/h2>\n<p>These roasted chickpeas taste best on the day that they are made. (That\u2019s when they are the crispiest.) Store them in an <a href=\"https:\/\/gethealthyu.com\/best-kitchen-gadgets-amazon\/\" data-lasso-id=\"75246\">airtight container<\/a> on the counter for up to 2 days. Don\u2019t put them in the fridge or else they\u2019ll get soggy.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-long-do-roasted-chickpeas-last\">How Long Do Roasted Chickpeas Last?<\/h2>\n<p>Homemade roasted chickpeas are the crispiest the same day that they are made \u2013 so I usually do small batches at a time. However, you can store them in an airtight container on the counter for up to 2 days, but they lose some of their crispiness and can get chewy the longer they sit.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-roasted-chickpeas-nutrition\">Roasted Chickpeas Nutrition<\/h2>\n<p>There are plenty of good reasons to keep your pantry stocked with a couple cans of chickpeas.
