Now the big man has fans divided however, as he asks his 1.8 million Instagram followers which year marked his best presentation of the pose on stage. Take a look at the evidence and judge for yourself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was a majestic pose and I stamped my authority with it,\u201d explained Yates in an IG post back in September. This week he\u2019s followed up with a trip down memory lane, showing the front lat spread from all six of his Olympia wins.<\/p>\n<h3>Which Olympia Was Dorian Yates\u2019 Best Front Lat Spread Pose?<\/h3>\n<p>Eager to become honorary Olympia judges for the day, bodybuilding aficionados wasted no time in providing their unofficial hot takes. \u201c95 looked the best,\u201d wrote one user. \u201c1997!!!\u201d wrote another. Some followers pointed out that they felt injuries had caught up with the champion during his run \u201cLegs are better in the later years, the injury\u2019s showed though through your symmetry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Scrolling through the comments, it\u2019s not easy to find a consensus: \u201cEvery year better and better but I think 97 you are best in front lat spread,\u201d offered another virtual judge. \u201cIt\u2019s between 95 and 96 for me,\u201d concluded an opposing view.<\/p>\n<p>So, with the internet typically divided, perhaps we should refer to the man himself. \u201cMajestic, herculean, commanding\u2026 that\u2019s how I\u2019d describe this pose. From the delts all the way down to the calves, I stamped my authority with it,\u201d reminisced Yates. \u201cThick, dense muscle combined with bone dry conditioning.
