Consequently, too many adults<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\"> are not building and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\">maintaining<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\"> a reserve of muscular strength that will enable them to <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\">stay active<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\"> as they age. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\">If health and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\">exercise <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\">professionals aim to foster healthy aging, they must recognize the importance of expanding the <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW172698441 BCX8\">strengthspan<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\"> from the early years through the later years to reduce the rate and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\">magnitude<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\"> of decline in muscular strength. Without exercise interventions that include<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\">muscle-strengthening activities, the loss of muscle strength will accelerate, the ability to perform physical tasks will decline and the quality of life will decrease<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\">,<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\">further <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\">exacerbating<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172698441 BCX8\"> feelings of inadequacy and isolation.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW172698441 BCX8\" data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"OutlineElement Ltr SCXW172698441 BCX8\">\n<p class=\"Paragraph SCXW172698441 BCX8\"
