She\u2019s a caring and thoughtful kid, but she\u2019s also motivated by the care she received in our Pediatric Oncology Program for Ewing\u2019s sarcoma. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you see a 6-year-old using those terms and knowing that\u2019s what she wants to be it shows the impact it made on her,\u201d says Doug, Piper\u2019s dad. <\/p>\n<p>Piper\u2019s pediatric Ewing\u2019s sarcoma diagnosis was hard for her parents, but they quickly bonded with our pediatric oncology care team.
