Dr. Wood cares for kids in our Department of Pediatric Urology as they grow into adults. Offering this type of care, called transitional care, is just one of the things that makes Children\u2019s Hospital Colorado different.<\/p>\n<p>Pediatric urology is just part of Dr. Wood\u2019s job. He not only provides care for children but continues and adapts care for them as adults. Providing transitional care throughout a person\u2019s lifetime allows us to see how treatment children received when they were young affects them as adults This information is invaluable to research and helps us improve care and pediatric urologic treatment.
