However, there are breathing exercises and devices available that can help you to breathe deeper and prevent fluid from collecting in your lungs.<\/p>\n<p>With these step-by-step instructions, you will learn how to properly use an incentive spirometer (I-S) \u2013 a breathing device used to assist in deep breaths and prevent pneumonia.
