Hope can take many forms \u2013 a new diagnosis, an alternative intervention or simply a different way of listening.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen they enter here, many of them have been told the outcome is going to be very poor for their child,\u201d says Dr. Harper, who\u2019s also Division Chief of Maternal Fetal Medicine. \u201cOftentimes we do change their outcomes.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Harper is always looking for ways to provide better care, both emotionally and therapeutically, drawing inspiration from her team and patients.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s never a \u2018no\u2019 from this team,\u201d says Dr. Harper. \u201cThere is always what can we do differently?
